15th North India Regional Conference – IDCA 2026

The International School of Informatics & Management (IIIM), Jaipur successfully organized the 15th North India Regional Conference of the India Development Coalition of America (IDCA) on 6–7 March 2026 on the theme “Promoting Social Entrepreneurship to Mitigate Poverty and Climate Change in India.”

The conference brought together academicians, social entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, and students to deliberate on sustainable development and innovative social initiatives.

The inaugural session featured Prof. Manju Nair (Principal, IIIM), who delivered the welcome address, and Dr. Mohan Jain (Founder-President, IDCA), who introduced the objectives of the conference. Dr. Maya Tandon (Padma Shri Awardee & Founder, Sahayta) graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and highlighted the importance of community-driven initiatives and social responsibility in addressing societal challenges. The Keynote Address was delivered by Shri Panchsheel Jain (Founder, Bal Sambal), who emphasized the transformative role of education and compassion in empowering underprivileged communities. The session also featured Mr. Prashant Pal (Founder & CEO, PURE India Trust) as the Special Guest.

The event included insightful technical sessions with eminent speakers such as Shri Jaikrishan Jajoo( Founder, Shubhashish Home), Ms. Swasti Sharma  (Assistant Professor, University of Delhi), Ms. Jayanti Mishra( Coordinator, Pravah), Dr. Anurag Joshi (UNICEF Rajasthan), Mr. Moulik Sisodiya (Tarun Bharat Sangh), and Ms. Aparna Joshi (Mpower), Ms. Vidhi Modi (Founder- VedLabs, Certified  Mental Health coach), Ms. Manju Joshi ( Secretary/CEO, Cecoedecon), Dr. Satya Prakash Mehra (Mentor, Green World Foundation), Dr. Alok Vyas (Director, Cecoedecon), and Mr. Hari Sharma (Program Manager, Azad Foundation).

The conference included insightful technical sessions and student project presentations under the Certificate Course in Citizenship and Social Entrepreneurship, reflecting meaningful engagement with grassroots social challenges.

The winners of the NGO project presentations were:

  • First Prize (₹7,000): Team Sahayata – Ms. Danika Jain, Mr. Arjun Ballabh Jarthal, Mr. Chetan Tiwari, Ms. Kashish Hingorani, Ms. Nimisha Jain
  • Second Prize (₹5,000): Team Manthan – Ms. Avika Jain, Ms. Geetika Verma, Ms. Arti Kumawat
  • Third Prize (₹3,000): Team Praveenlata Sansthan – Ms. Archi Surana, Ms. Ishita Saini, Ms. Tanisha Jain, Ms. Teena Rawat, Ms. Urvarshi Devjani

The conference concluded successfully, serving as a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration, and promoting social entrepreneurship for sustainable development.
