Hackathon 4.0: IIIM Celebrates Innovation and Young Talent

The Institute organised Hackathon 4.0 on February 21, 2026 — a high-energy, one-day competition that drew talented team of 4-5 members from colleges across the city. The hackathon challenged participants to develop practical, technology-driven solutions for pre-defined real-life problem statements within a limited timeframe. Teams demonstrated exceptional creativity and technical depth through software models, mobile applications, and web-based prototypes, reflecting strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and a genuine drive to solve problems that matter. The campus radiated an infectious energy throughout the day, with students pushing boundaries and inspiring one another in equal measure.

The solutions were evaluated by two seasoned industry experts from Sarvika Technologies — Mr. Saurabh Tejawat, Technical Head, and Mr. Jai Godara, Enterprise Architect — who assessed each presentation on five key parameters: Clarity, Innovation, Robustness, Feasibility, and Social Impact. After a rigorous judging process, Team Catalyst from IIS(deemed to be university)— comprising Jigyasa Gupta, Tanishka Sharma, Urvashi Shekhawat, Payal Nehra, and Leena Kewalani — clinched the top prize of Rs 5,000. The first runner-up position was secured by Team Unknown Coders from Apex University (Shyam, Rahul Meghwal, Kanika Shekhawat, Yug Sharma, and Shagun Sharma), who were awarded Rs 3,000. Team Budget Bytes from IIIM — Chirag Sharma, Ayushi Pawar, Drishti Khatri, and Naman Patni — earned the second runner-up honour along with a cash prize of Rs 2,000. All participating teams were also presented with certificates of appreciation.

IIIM, with its more than three-decade legacy of academic excellence, continues to champion experiential learning through platforms like Hackathon 4.0. The institute's leadership expressed that such events instil in students a spirit of innovation, leadership, and real-world problem-solving — qualities that go far beyond the classroom. Hackathon 4.0 reaffirmed IIIM's unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of thinkers and technology leaders who are ready to build tomorrow, today.
