A word to the Parent

We follow a continuous and comprehensive system of evaluation:

  • Parents to ensure that their ward attends the school regularly.
  • Dates of Formative Assessment will not be disclosed as it is a continuous and comprehensive evaluation but the teachers will give proper revision and diary notes to the students before the assessment of the respective subject.
  • There are usually 2 to 3 components of each FA, all of which have different-mode of conduction and assessment.
  • Written FA is conducted on a specific day without any clash with other subjects but orals and activity based FAs, which does not require learning at home can be conducted any day as per subject teacher's convenience and requirement of the syllabus.
  • Marks are given in each component of FA and are converted into grades.
  • Please refer to Page No. A-22 in school diary for Grade Scheme.
  • Blue Print of SAs will be given to students well in advance for the general idea of the Marking Scheme and question paper pattern.

We are following a new method of teaching called the Xseed Living Knowledge System upto class 5. Our experimental approach to education ensures that learning continues long after the bell announces the end of a school day. We encourage students to become lifelong learners. The teaching skills focus on deep understanding and build Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration Skills.

As a parent, you can encourage your child's pursuit of knowledge above and beyond the formal school day. Parents can involve themselves in the following ways -

  • Ask your child what she/he learns each day.
  • Ask your child to explain the work that he/she did in the notebook and student workbook.
  • Review the Content Book with your child and find the activities that can be done at home.
  • Allow your child to complete home assignments with his/her own answers.
  • And finally parents should check the diary everyday and make their ward learn and practice according to the diary notes given.

Parents can come to discuss their problems (if required) on any day between 2.00 to   2:30 pm everyday and on all Saturdays during the school hours.
