On May 3, 2025, IIIM hosted  a power-packed session titled "Unlocking Hidden Marketing Strategies: Leveraging Social Media Analytics to Boost Your Brand’s Performance,". The event brought together marketing professionals, students, and digital enthusiasts to explore the ever-evolving dynamics of content creation and social media strategy. The event took place on May 3, 2025, and featured distinguished Mr. Nitin Jain, Founder of The Cogent and a proud alumnus of IIIM, alongside Mr. Ritik Munjal, Co-founder. Together, they delivered deep insights into building strong digital brands through impactful content and analytics.

Mr. Nitin Jain delivered a compelling presentation on the critical role of content in today’s digital landscape, highlighting it as the driving force behind any successful online presence. He elaborated on the various types of content and introduced three key elements—Informative, Glamour, and Entertainment—which he described as essential ingredients for crafting content that resonates with audiences, fosters engagement, and builds brand loyalty. He emphasized that even focusing on one of these elements can significantly elevate a brand’s digital impact.

He also stressed the importance of a strong hook in the first 3 seconds of any video or reel, pointing out that these crucial moments determine whether viewers stay or scroll. His session provided practical guidance on crafting effective Reels and leveraging platforms like Instagram to build visibility and engagement.

Building on this foundation, Mr. Ritik Munjal delivered an in-depth, hands-on session that provided participants with a comprehensive, step-by-step walkthrough of some of the most effective tools and applications used in modern content creation. He demonstrated how creators can use these platforms to edit, refine, and enhance short-form video content—from improving resolution and color grading to adding engaging transitions, effects, captions, and sound elements that align with platform trends.

Mr. Munjal emphasized the importance of platform-specific optimization, showing how tailoring content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar formats can significantly boost visibility and engagement. He also discussed best practices for maintaining visual consistency, using templates, and leveraging analytics to track performance and iterate content strategy.
