IIIM Cricket Premier League - ICPL

The IIIMAA Alumni Association hosted the IIIM Cricket Premier League (ICPL) on February 8th, where seven enthusiastic teams came together for a day of friendly yet competitive game of cricket. The teams—Eagles, Legends, Gladiators, Maestros, Warriors, Stars, and Dominators—played with great energy and excitement, making the tournament a memorable one.

The day started with the National Anthem, followed by a march-past and the toss to kick off the matches. After a series of intense games, including the semi-finals between Team Eagles vs. Team Stars and Team Dominators vs. Team Legends, the final match saw Team Stars going up against Team Dominators. In a nail-biting finale, Team Stars clinched the title, becoming the champions of the tournament.

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Varun Gupta, Director, Ashish Group and Mr. Himanshu Goyal, Director, Advanced Solutions, presented awards to the winners.

Team Dominators, the runners-up, included Mr. Ankit Jain, Mr. Ankur Jain, Mr. Ankit Vishnoi, Mr. Jay Verma, Mr. Nakul Jain, Ms. Kerine Jain, Mr. Rishi Shrivastava, and Mr. Yash Mathur. Team Stars, the winners, was represented by Ms. Archie Agarwal, Mr. Deepak Sharma, Mr. Dev Chaudhary, Mr. Ishant Gupta, Mr. Kapil Khatri, Mr. Tushar Manghnani, Mr. Vikas Marwal, and Mr. Yuvraj Rajawat. The Best Player award went to Mr. Ronak Jain, while Mr. Yash Mathur was named Best Batsman, and Mr. Ishant Gupta was awarded Best Bowler.

The ICPL provided an excellent opportunity for the bond of warmth between the institute alumni and the present students.
