On March 9th and 11th 2024, the institute organized "ISIM Hackathon 2.0” Powered by Celebal Technologies. The objective of this event was to provide students with a platform to solve pressing problems faced in daily life, fostering a culture of product innovation and problem-solving mindset. Additionally, the aim was to connect prospective participants with renowned IT companies involved in the Hackathon.
Prior to the event, domains such as Education, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, Smart Campus, and Social Impact, along with their respective problem statements, were shared with the participants. This ensured they had sufficient time to familiarize themselves with the challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions.
During the 12-hour hackathon, more than 25 teams from different technical institutions across the state participated enthusiastically. The top-performing teams were shortlisted to compete in the first round of the Hackathon on March 9th. Among these, top 6 teams were selected to present their tech-based innovative solutions and prototypes before the panel of esteemed judges on March 11th.
The judges for the event included Mr. Abhishek Jain, Practice Lead at Wipro, Mr. Manish Jain, Project Manager at Startbit IT Solutions, Mr. Prashant Kumar, Mr. Sujit Jha, Mr. Nirmal Kukna, and Mr. Abhishek Upadhyay from Celebal Technologies. These esteemed judges mentored and evaluated the proposed ideas and prototypes of all participating teams based on criteria such as  novelty of the idea, complexity, problem clarity, feasibility analysis, practicability, sustainability, scale of impact, user experience, potential for future work progression, and presentation.
The winning team of the ISIM Hackathon 2.0 comprised Rajveer Singh, Lakshya Garg, Deepika Dubey, and Vishal Thanvi from ISIM, who proposed an AI-based solution for Smart Parking under the Smart City domain. The first runner-up team from Government College of Engineering, Ajmer, comprised Manish Vaishnav, Anuj Tiwari, Gaurav Rathore, Nikhil Gurjar, and Pankaj Swami Vaishnav, who suggested the idea of an Alumni Tracking System globally on a single platform. The second runner-up team from IIS (deemed to be University) presented the idea to resolve the problem of PCOD patients through a chatbot. Cash prizes of eleven thousand, eight thousand, and five thousand respectively along with certificates, were provided to the top three winning teams.
The tech partners for the Hackathon have also contributed in various ways; Celebal Technologies offered job opportunities to winning teams, Startbit IT solutions sponsored the first cash prize & Pedestal Techno World proposed scholarship to the participants’ for their courses.
During the Hackathon, events like Graphic Gala and Musical Mosaic were also organized for the participants on March 9th. IT experts from renowned companies Mr. Abhishek Jain from Wipro, Mr. Sharthak Acharji from Celebal Technologies, and Mr. Gajendraditya Gaur from Pedestal Techno World, oriented the students on trending technologies and how to prepare themselves to be corporate-ready in the IT industry. 
All participants were provided with E-Certificates. Dr. Ashok Gupta, Chairman of ISIM, congratulated all the winning teams and wished good luck to the participants.
