On 13th September 2023, 'e-baithak'- A panel discussion with alumni entrepreneurs, was organised by E-Igniters, the ISIM's E-cell, TEIIC- The Incubation Cell, and the Institution's Innovation Council.

The panellists were Ms. Preeti Agarwal, Founder of Joyous Women Hub. Dr. Mukul Sharma, Partner, Rajdhani Consultancy Services, Mr. Sagar Chaturvedi, Founder, Arthonsys Technologies LLP, Mr. Vivek Chaturvedi, CTO, Vidhema Technologies Pte Ltd, and Mr. Shashank Bilala, Owner, Farm To Table & DeFruta.
With a focus on entrepreneurship, our alumni experts shared their career stories and experiences to inspire students to help them understand more about starting their own businesses, opportunities and pitfalls, and the different routes to entrepreneurship. They also discussed how they overcame obstacles and setbacks while establishing their ventures and scaling them up.
The panellists gave the audience some background on their career paths and what drew them to running their businesses, from how to choose and validate an industry or niche to researching and buying domain names, taking a salary, and practicing self-care.
All the panellists knew from an early age that they wanted to work for themselves. Still, four of them began their careers by working for other large and small companies before venturing out on their own, and the other joined the family business. This gave them perspective and experience that later proved valuable in their endeavours.
The panel members explained how, thinking creatively and ensuring you are passionate about the business idea you will start, is essential.
The discussion included ideas, perspectives, and precious insights about cultivating robust, unstoppable entrepreneurial spirits and competencies in business.

In the discussion, the panellists said, "Being an entrepreneur is like getting hit in the face every day" and "Focus on the right decisions, not perfect ones. It's about making a series of right decisions and making them quickly and sequentially day in and day out."

They inspired students with their entrepreneurial journeys. The event concluded with the panellists of e-baithak answering queries from the students.
