Workshop on Data Visualization in Microsoft Excel

To orient students about the significance of data in business decision making, the institute organized a Workshop on “Role of Data Analytics in Business Decision Making” on June 30, 2023. The IT Expert Dr. Monika Rathore explained the students that how data analytics has emerged as a powerful tool enabling organizations to harness the potential of data and turn it into actionable intelligence.

Further, she discussed that by processing and analyzing diverse data sources, such as customer transactions, social media interactions, sensor data, and market trends, businesses can gain valuable insights into their operations, customers, and industry landscapes. Dr. Rathore elucidated about various related tools and techniques encompassing data mining, machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical analysis and R studio.
