When new students enter an institution, they come with diverse thoughts, backgrounds and preparations. They come into a new unfamiliar environment, and most of them have little knowledge of their institute. An important task, therefore, is to welcome new students to Higher Education and prepare them for their new role.

ISIM each year welcomes new batch of MBA & MCA students to the institution via three week long Orientation program that helps the newbies to adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcates in them the ethos and culture of the institution, helps them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self exploration.

During the induction program, ISIM focuses on activities including Physical Activities (yoga, games and sports), Faculty-Student Mentoring sessions, Familiarization to their respective curriculum, Creative Arts and Culture, Literary Activities, Guest Lectures by Eminent People from the industry, Visits to Local Industrial Area and Extra-Curricular Activities in so as to offer an exceptional student experience in an enabling and dynamic learning environment.
