Workshop on Reset, Rejuvenate and Renew A Mind-Body- Spirit Approach to Self-Renewal

Workshop on ‘Reset, Rejuvenate and Renew: A Mind-Body- Spirit Approach to Self-Renewal’ was organized on October 11, 2022. The resource person was ‘Jitendra Singh Bulawat, founder, Foodoga.

Mr. Jitendra shared that combination of a fit body and a good state of mind is what constitutes a healthy living. He said that when a person adopts a quality lifestyle, it not only reduces the chance of diseases but also enhances their brain development and cognitive abilities. Just like a particular skill is honed over time, similarly, healthy living is also something one can achieve by practicing daily.
He informed students that increased production of processed foods, rapid urbanization and changing lifestyles have led to a shift in dietary patterns. The exact make-up of a diversified, balanced and healthy diet will vary depending on individual characteristics (e.g. age, gender, lifestyle and degree of physical activity), cultural context, locally available foods and dietary customs. However, the basic principles of what constitutes a healthy diet remain the same.
He encouraged students to understand how important is impact of ‘Healthy Mindset’ on one’s overall life. He told students that simple habits and changes in the day-to-day life can lead to a big difference. A healthy and mindful living can provide feeling of wholesomeness and increases one’s efficiency to perform daily tasks, thus leading to more productivity.
