Mosaic 2022

MOSAIC 2022, the 23rd annual management fest, the two-day management organized every year by ISIM, Jaipur  ushers in the spirit of enthusiasm and exuberance among the youth was held on 29-30 April, 2022 with much festivity and razzle dazzle. The mega management festival, aims to test the students on varied skills. Mosaic an amalgamation of management games and cultural events, has always provided an opportunity to students to showcase their talent and encouraged them to work with enthusiasm and commitment thus bringing forward the skills of agility, speed and multi-tasking.

 

More than 25 B-Schools with great enthusiasm showing their creative, intellectual and artistic skills during different competitions and performance-based activities participated in  various intellectually stimulating events like quiz, business plan, singing, advert and poster competition.

 

Commencement of the 2 day management fest was marked by seeking the blessings of the almighty and lighting of lamp followed by invoking the blessings of Goddess Sarraswati with Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director ISIM, through his Welcome Address marked the commencement of Mosaic 2022. He appreciated students for their efforts with his encouraging words in his inaugural speech. He expressed that over the years, the institute has been instrumental in enhancing the performing and competitive spirit among the students. Dr. Gupta also highlighted enhance the skills required to be successful in life.

 

The 2 day long events began with “Brain Bench - The Quiz", which had a challenging array of questions to put the participants through a mind boggling series of rounds to determine the winner in which the teams consisted of two members each. The event was intended to test the contestants' knowledge and awareness of various functional areas of management and crucial changes happening in the corporate world. The winners of the event were Mr. Chirvesh Jain from ISIM, Jaipur and runners up were Mr. Rohit Gaur from IIS (deemed to be University).

“Big Idea - Poster Competition", was an event where participants had to use their creative imagination to draw, paint or design a poster on the theme 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. The judges of the event were Mr. Inder Sangtani, Branch Relationship Manager, Equitas Small Finance Bank and Mr. Bharat Singh Naruka, Zonal Head, Direct Marketing. The winners of the event were Ms. Sakshi Mishra and Ms.  Vidhi Sharma from Mody University and runners up were Ms. Taniya Sharma and Ms. Ishika Jain.


“Ad Guru - Create an Advertisement" was a game of innovation and imagination, wherein the participants were asked to create acampaign on Made in India products. They had to promote these products through poster making (print advertisement), recorded TV commercial, live advertisement or any other innovative idea. “Getting the message across" was the underlying theme of this event. The judges of the event were, Ms. Priyadarshini Soni, Founder Partner, Nine Degree and Ms. Julie Chandnani, Assistant Manager, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. The winners of the event were Mr. Ritesh Kumar Kumawat from
IIS (deemed to be University) and runners up were Mr. Yash Agarwal and Mr. Vivek Sharma from ISIM, Jaipur.


“Hatch a Pitch-Startup Plan" Keeping in mind the plethora of creativity blooming in the minds of youth, a competition on creating business plan was set up wherein the participants were required to create great and innovative business ideas in context of the current business strategies. The participants showcased their exquisite, infrequent business plans with full vigor and enthusiasm and enhanced their entrepreneurial skills. The judges for the event were Mr. Anant Jain Manager, Gravita India Ltd and Mr. APURAV SINGH, Area Sales Manager, J K Cement. The Winners were Ms. Sneha Ambeka and Mr. Sayak Gupta, NIFTEM, Sonipat Haryana and Mr. Nikhil Maheshwari, ISIM, Jaipur and Ms. Anjali Sharma, ISIM, Jaipur were Runner-up.

 

"Strings Unplugged", a solo singing competition, provided a platform for the participants to exhibit their melodious disposition. The event judges were Mr. Bahubal Jain, Regional manager, Treasury Market Group, Axis Bank  Ltd and Ms. Apurva Bhardwaj, Assistant Manager-Advisor-Omni. Each participant performed with ardour. The enthusiasm and excitement during the program knew no bounds. The event's winner was Ms. Sushma Jha from Compucom Group of Colleges, Jaipur, and the runner-up was Mr. Kunal Mishra from Subodh college, Jaipur.


“Euphony- The Valedictory Ceremony", marked the culmination of the two day fest with the electrifying performances by the students in group dances on modern, western, and Bollywood dance forms, as well as traditional and folk melodies. The budding managers left the audience spellbound with their electrifying performances.

 

To end these enlightening 2 days of Mosaic the institute organised a DJ party  followed by dinner in its premises which did not only make the night shine brightly but also groove happily. Everybody jumped to the beats of rocking music and showed their best moves and danced their hearts out.

 

The event was a great success with the support and efforts of the guests, media, sponsors, all the participating institutes and the IIIM Team. The students participated with great enthusiasm showing their creative, intellectual and artistic skills during different competitions and performance-based activities.
