International School of Informatics and Management, Technical campus in association with its Innovation Council (IIC) organized its annual quiz competition B- Quizzing 2021 on 13th February 2021. Every year ISIM hosts this annual competition to test acumen of B Schools students and corporate participants about the latest developments and happenings of the corporate world.
For the first time, the event was conducted online for participants across India.
The event witnessed an overwhelming registration of 150 participants from corporates and B- Schools across the country including GENPACT, American Express, Bank of New York Mellon, SAIL, Hero Motocorp, IOC, SBI, Godrej, Canara Bank, Mahindra Finance, IIM Bangalore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Udaipur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Bodhgaya, Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Mumbai, Xavier Institute of Management, Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, T.A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, IIFT Delhi, Kolkata, NMIMIS Bangalore, NMIMIS Mumbai and K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai.
The event was conducted in two rounds, Prelims the elimination round followed by the Finals. Both rounds were stimulating and interesting with brain tweezing questions. The competition lived up to its tagline 'Through the Abyss of Fire – A Quest to Pinnacle' when top 25 scorers of the Prelims played the final round to bag the top three positions. The winner of B- Quizzing 2021 was Mr. Preetham Upadhyay from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay. The second position was bagged by Mr. B. Naveen Kumar from Sai Mitra Constructions and the third position was secured by Mr. Sidharth Sethu from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay.
IIIM congratulated the winners and presented the cash prizes of Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 to the winner and the first runner up, respectively. The second runner up was awarded with a certificate of merit.
