An inter institute
workshop on Right Career Choice: Roadmap to success was conducted on February
18, 2020. The resource person was Mr. Ankush Mahendra, Corporate Trainer.
Students from various institutes were invited to attend the workshop.
Mr. Ankush guided students to assess their competency which is the most critical
input that will contribute to the development of ones’ roadmap.
He asked students to develop a refined list of career options by examining their
interests, skills, and values through self-assessment. Further he advised
aspirants to narrow their career options by reviewing career information,
researching companies, and talking to professionals in the field.
Mr. Mahendra suggested students to identify specific, time-bound goals and steps
to accomplish their plan. He emphasized the importance to be realistic about
expectations and timelines.
He told that taking right decision for a good career at right time creates
difference in ones’ life. Therefore, students should plan their career very
meticulously.
