On January 5-6, 2020 International Institute of Informatics and Management
organized an “Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackthon-2020”. Smart India
Hackthon is an event conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development
(MHRD) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It is a
platform provided to the students to solve some of the pressing problems faced
in daily lives.
For this event 150 students divided in 25 teams participated from which 11 teams
were shortlisted to compete in Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackthon-2020.
Students presented their innovative ideas in the form of software solutions and
presentations for the problems given by various Ministries, Departments,
Industries, PSUs and NGOs. Judges for the event were Mr. Amit Jain, Project
Manager, Metacube Software Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Sheenu Jain, Marketing Manager, Jaipur
Rugs and Dr. Anubha Jain HOD & Associate Professor, IIS (Deemed to be
University). They judged the activity on the basis of software execution and
presentations. The judges mentored and evaluated the students and selected 5
teams to compete for the next level of SIH 2020 going to be held on 4-5 April
2020.
