E-Summit 2020
 

On January 24, 2020 the institute organized an E-summit in collaboration with E-Cell, IIT Rorkee. The guest for the event was Mr. Akhilesh Trivedi, Founder and CEO, Startup Cheers. Mr. Trivedi said that Start-up entrepreneurship is crucial because of innovations, new jobs and bringing competitive dynamics into the business environment. He also acquainted students with the significance of innovation in business and motivated them to be entrepreneurs by ensuing their own passion. He exhorted the audience to identify respective sparks in or around them, nurture their ideas and aim to fulfil their desires. Mr. Trivedi quoted various examples of fine business ideas and successful entrepreneurs. Through those examples he emboldened the students to plan their steps towards the journey of a start-up.
Later the event was carried forward by IIT Rorkee students by presenting the IPitch event – an event to pitch entrepreneurial ideas. Students of the institute came up with interesting start-up ideas in teams for IPitch. Each team presented a business model and the entrepreneurial requirements for distinctive startups.
The motive behind the event was to inculcate the innovative and creative skill sets among participants.
