As the 'Freshers party-Splash 2003' thrown by the ICG Bosses heralded new tidings and revelations in the hearts of all the new entrants, they organised a fabulous Thanks Party called 'DREAMZ 2003' on the 19 September at the college campus. An array, a mélange of beautiful items performed by the young ICGians enthralled the audience by staging a candid confluence of cultural extravaganza.

The fantasyful theme of 'Dreamz' was well imbued with bright hues of remixes and originals from the 60s and 70s, and pop hits that flashed through dance performances and group songs. While the unsurpassable threshold of the rapturous twirl of dancers in the Indo-Western Fusion was captivating, choreographies like ‘Chori Pe Chori’ (Saathiya) and ‘Woh Yaar Mera’ (Alisha Chinoy), medley on old time songs, and the peppy numbers ‘Wo Ladki Ha Kahan’ (Dil Chahta Hai) & ‘Hum Naye Geet Sunayen (Viva) kept the viewers glued to their seats. The impressed seniors not just booed and cheered the juniors on stage but they were also heard appreciating the depth of talent of the young performers.

The serenity of 60s and 70s music had the audience wanting more of the dance and fun. On the next, Mehmood’s ‘Hum Kale Hai To Kya Hua’ was on the run. A feel of verve and vivacity stormed the show when the ICG troupe barged in with the foot tapping number 'Meri Nind Ud Gai' from Band of Boys. The youth's vigor was less in dance than in song.

The dance sequence on ‘Dil Hoom-Hoom Kare’ (Rudali) stole the show where the stage was captured by the PG Freshers.

The glorious day was also long awaited by the bunch of bright students who were appointed as the 'Office-Bearers' for the current session. And no doubt, the chosen ones walked majestically in pride and esteem to receive their badges. Komal Ranjan and Mumal Rajvi were appointed as College Head Girls, followed by Deputy Head Girl Neha Ummat. Among the various other appointments, Riddhima Bansal as the Co-ordinator of Campus Activities, Kalinika Chauhan as Head of the Academic Guild, Shikha Chaudhary as Cultural Head, Mahima Sharma as Head of Dramatics Guild and Niharika Mohanty for Fine Arts, Kanika Vijai as Cultural Secretary, Shivangini Singh as Deputy Cultural Head and Nupur Singhi and Sakshi Jagnani as Cultural Joint Secretaries. The four houses of the college - Sapphires, Corals, Emeralds and Pearls - divided arbitrarily, to group the glinting jewels, were also crowned with the new representatives for the session.

No evening at ICG is complete without a song from the Director Dr.Ashok Gupta and this year's Thanks Party was made special by the inspiring number ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye'.

The colourful Saturday afternoon concluded amid blissful memories of shimmer 'n' shine studded Dance Party for the students and the staff both.
