‘Mock Parliament’ at IIS

Mock Parliament a replica of the proceeding of the Indian Parliament was organized in the school on 30^th September 2005.  More than 44 students from grade VI to XII participated in the ‘question hour’ that was presented before an audience comprising teachers and students. The participants were all attired in   dress befitting the MPs of all ages. The members of the opposition had prepared well and threw relevant and contemporary questions at the ruling party and these were received and answered . There were heated exchanges also accompanied by the banging of the tables and the speaker intervened from time to time to bring about an order. The effort of the students was appreciated and received a loud applause.
