The Government of Rajasthan has awarded India International School, Jaipur for Excellence in Information Technology in Education Sector in Rajasthan. Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje presented the award to the Principal Dr. Ashok Gupta at a grand function organized by NASSCOM, TIE & E-Mitra. The award comprises of an amount of Rupees Two Lakhs, a merit certificate and a trophy.
IIS has received this honour on the basis of its excellent performance in imparting IT Education, availability of the latest IT infrastructure & software and an active participation in various state and national level IT events.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje took a keen interest in the FM Radio 7, IIS Institutional Network’s community radio channel designed to broadcast educational programmes. She said that she would like to spend a whole day in the FM Radio 7 studios to present a programme.
Sh. Kiran Karnik, President, NASSCOM, Sh. Pramod Bhasin, President, GECIS, Sh. Ajay Data, President, TIE and Sh. Rohit Kumar Singh IAS, Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Rajasthan also graced the occasion by their presence.
