WINNERS OF ICCW PAINTING COMPETITION
The following students are the  winners of the Painting Competition organized by the Indian Council For Child Welfare , Rajasthan State Branch at state level.

The students received a medal and a certificate each at the hands of the Mayor , in a function organized in the Rotary Bhawan on 15 December 2009.  

Harsha Agrawal of Grade X stood second in the Inter School Spot Painting Competition held at the Jaipur Zoo as a part of the Wild Life Week Celebration. We congratulate him.

Event: CBSE West Zone Taekwondo Championship held at Indore from 24 September to 26 September

  1. amyak Jain  of XII A won the Gold Medal and also the Best Fighter Award.
  2. Shivani Bansal of VIII A won a Silver Medal.
  3. Anandita Bhargava of IX A won a Silver Medal

All three have been selected for the National Competition to be held at Indore from
1st to 4th  November 2009. 
The following students won Bronze Medals:

Event: Interschool Power Point Presentation Competition organized by St. Angela Sophia Senior School
Achievers: Aditya Garg and Arpit Jain of XII C stood third in the competition for their presentation on Satellite Television.

Nandini Joshi of Class III B was the 6th runner up in the 9th All India UCMAS Mental Arithmetic Competition held at Chennai in July. She also won the Championship in 5th Rajasthan State Level UCMAS / Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition.
In the CBSE Athletic Championship 2009-2010 held from 15 September to 17 September 2009 in Jaipur, Nikita Singh of Grade 12 won the silver medal for discuss throw in the Under 19 Category. Rajni Chaudhary of Grade XI won the Gold Medal in High Jump. Both have qualified for the national Championship.
  1. Shivangi Sharma of Grade VIII and Pratibha Vinod of Grade X were selected in the Saraswati Shiksha Sansthan and Dainik Bhaskar all Rajasthan Talent Scholarship examination – 2009. They received a scholarship of Rs. 6000 each.
  2. Aishwarya Gupta of Grade IX has been selected for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholarship and is now an NTSE scholar.

1. Three of our students have made the school proud with their achievement in the field of academics.

            Prachi Jain (2008-2009) took the IIT competitive examination and topped the list amongst the girls. She got the I position in Rajasthan an 118 overall rank in India. She also received the coveted Kalpana Chawla award on 2 August 2009.

            Shivika Joshi (2008-2009) got the 8th rank in Jaipur and the 15th overall rank in India in the CPT examination.

Pooja Agrawal (2008-2009) got the 12th rank in Jaipur and overall 20th rank in India.
 

2. Aditya Garg and Ishika Garg of class 12 in the present academic year i.e.2009-10, received the title of Amul Vidya Shree award for their outstanding academic performance at the CBSE Examintion held in Mrch 2008. They were given Rs 1000/- each and a trophy from Amul Sagar, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited, Anand.

  • Giving a helping hand : Contribution to ‘ DISHA’

     

    Our students collected a huge amount ie Rs One Lakh Seventy Three Thousand , and made a contribution to ‘Disha’, the organization that works for the welfare of special children.Ms Rainu Singh ,the Director ‘Disha’ appreciated this commendable effort of the children and gave away awards specially made by the ‘Disha’ children along with certificates and a special trophy for the school on 15 April 2009.The special awardees are :

  • A National Painting Competition was organised by the Indian Council for Child Welfare, Rajasthan Branch at State Level on 15th October, 2008.
    This on the spot competition was divided into 3 groups. A large number of students from grade 3 to 8 participated in the competition and the winners of different groups were as follows:

    The winners was awarded by the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan Shri S.K. Singh on 14th November, 2008 in a ceremony held at the Governor’s House. The painting of the winners will be sent for the judgement at the National Level.
     

  • Rupali Pathak of grade 7 B and Surbhi Sethi of grade 7 B who participated in the State Level Childrens’ Science Congress 2008 organised by the Department of Science & Technology and their project has been selected for the National Level Exhibition to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland from 26th December to 31st December, 2008. Their topic is “Comparative study of incidence of flurosis in two different areas of Jaipur”.
    The project has been completed under the guidance of Ms. Akhila Nair.
     

  • The 8th Ryan Cricket Cup – 2008 was held at Ryan International School, Jaipur. Siddhant V. Agarwal of grade 11 was awarded the “Best Fielder of the Tournament”.
     

  • Inter School Competitions were ogranised by the Subodh Public School from 21st July to 25th July, 2008.  Our students participated in a number of competitions.  The winners are as follows:

  • On 20th September, 2008 a class quiz was held in which all the students participated enthusiastically as it was based on their class room learning.
     

  • On 12th August, 2008 students of the primary wing made our National Flag for the Independence Day celebration held on the lawns of IIS where all the staff members of the IIS Institutional Network had gathered for the patriotic celebration.
