NEW SESSION 2009-2010 BEGINS

The new session 2009-10 began on 6^th April, 2009 after the promotion examination and the declaration of the result.  The Principal, Dr. Ashok Gupta, welcomed the students, in the morning assembly and advised them not only to be academically inclined, but also have a good turn out.  Discipline will always remain the watchward. 

Arrival of Grade I Students 

The portals of IIS were opened to Grade I students on 8^th April, 2009. They entered with beaming faces, same full of confidence, some a little unsure carrying their new bags and bottles.  Within no time they were divided into four sections and they got familiar with their teachers and surroundings.  Later in the day, the children were taken to the Activity Hall where they were given a warm welcome in the traditional Indian way by being  garlanded, and tilak applied on their foreheads, by the Principal Dr. Ashok Gupta Sir and Ma’am Mala Agnihotri, the Vice Principal. In the coming week, the new arrivals will be taken on a guided tour of the school building with its various departments, to familiarize them with the infrastructure. We wish them “All the very best in all their future endeavours.” May they all have a wonderful learning experience at IIS.
