Our school is renowned for imparting all round quality education to its pupils. Among other activities, regular excursions to nature parks are being organised. Recently one such field trip to Karpoorchand Kulish Park for the students of class I to V, was organised on 18th January, 2008 and 21st January, 2008. On a beautiful winter morning the cheerful, excited and curious young minds travelled to the location in conveyance organised by the school. They were accompanied by their teachers and other school staff. As the students trekked around, they got a glimpse of the beautiful flora and fauna of Rajasthan, including quite a few exotic birds, their nesting places and water points. As they conducted their wards around, the teachers commented on the various aspects of nature to enlighten the insatiable young minds. It was a trekking experience par excellence. After a long and exhilarating walk the students settled down to partake of the fulsome refreshments arranged by the school. This was followed by fun and frolic in the form of a variety of games for students with a large number of prizes to be won. The joy de virre of the students had to be seen to be believed. Even the teachers felt rejuvenated. On returning from the trip, the prize winning students had an audience with Mr. Ashok Gupta, Principal, IIS to convey their happiness and gratitude. All in all, it was a wonderful outing for the students – highly education, yet a funfilled experience. They are already looking forward to the next one. |
