8th Inter-Institutional L.N.Birla National Debate – 2007 held.

8^th Inter Institutional L.N. Birla National Debate, Regional Round was held on 23^rd July, 2007 at International School of Informatics and Management, Mansarovar, Jaipur.  The Institute played host for the 4^th consecutive year. 

Topic for the Debate:  Technological Advancement is costing India its culture. 

Participants: 15 schools and 3 colleges. 

Chief Guest:  Mr. Umesh Bhandari, Chief Executive of Reliance Industries Ltd.  For Rajasthan was the Chief Guest. 

The esteemed jury members were Ms. Ritu Lohia, Mrs. Surjeet Soin and                Ms. Salila Bhansali. 

The chairperson for the debate was Dr. Sharad Rathore. 

The debate gave voice to the bold and brave youth.  It encouraged public speaking skills, keenness, enthusiasm and vigour in the participants.

Result:            Winner:          India International School, Jaipur.

                      Runners up:    MGD, Jaipur

                                           Represented by Shiromi Chaturvedi and Aishwarya 

                     Best Speaker:  Shreya Deora
