The 8^th Inter-Institutional L.N. Birla National Debate
North Zone Finals

Garima Poonia (Grade XI) and Shreya Deora (Grade IX), who had won the Regional round of the L.N. Birla Debate held at Jaipur, went to Delhi to participate in the North Zone Finals.  The debate took place on 30^th August, 2007 in Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi with the IIS team and 16 teams from the top schools in Delhi participating in it.  The IIS participants debated with a clarity of thought and conviction. Garima Poonia was adjudged the runner up.  The best speaker was Arjun Singh from Springdale School, Delhi.
