5th ISA YOUTH LEADERSHIP SEMINAR

5^th ISA (International Schools Association) meet was held at IIS, Jaipur from 7^th to 12^th July, 2007.  The topic for the Youth Leadership Seminar was “Water- The Blue Gold”.  ISA decided to unite the youth from different parts of the world and sensitise the people for the judicious use of water.

 The seminar was attended by the Board Members i.e. IIS Principal Dr. Ashok Gupta,           Dr. James Mclallen from Canada and Mr. Bernard Ivaldi from Switzerland.  The students from USA, Argentina and Ghana enjoyed their stay in India International School, Jaipur, India.  They loved Indian food and deeply admired the rich culture and tradition of Rajasthan.  MGD, Jaipur and IIS, Jaipur were the representatives from schools in India. 

Dr. S.K. Jain, The Ground water Resources expert, Ministry of Water Resource, enlightened the students with his talk on Water Conservation. Prof. Ramesh Arora spoke on Youth Leadership. 

The seminar was held under the able guidance of Mrs. Mala Agnihotri.  The participating students visited Agra and Udaipur also.
