Build Yourself as a Brand!'
Industrialist Mr. Sunil Sobti urges IIIMites

"Success is a ladder that cannot be climbed with hands in the pocket. The budding managers must start working upon building themselves as a 'brand' so that the competitive market absorbs them fast & fine." Quoted Mr. Sunil Sobti, a Kolkata based first generation entrepreneur involved in manufacturing of electric equipments for marine, power generation areas and heavy industries.  Mr. Sobti was addressing IIIM students on 5th August, 2004 while giving a special lecture on 'Leadership & Motivation'. Highlighting the various mantras of earning long-term success in life, he favoured a constant increase in an individual's standards to withstand the increasing competition, team work and never settling for being an average.
"We all live under the same sky, but we all don't have the same vision. To become a leader, we have to choose that distinct horizon to take ourselves ahead of others." Mr. Sunil explained how important it is to 'think big' to make it big in life. He concluded on a blissfull note that if one ever fails, s/he must strategise wholeheartedly to bounce back in the game of life.
