Coming
to IIIM two years back, Rohit Belawala knew he was good in studies but had
less confidence about his abilities in the field of management. His
being into the institute, within a month, changed his perspective. “IIIM
really helped me in realizing that it takes much planning and strategy to
shape a promising future in today’s competitive world.”
Apraa Mehra, when she began her search, dreamt of an institution that could
support her diverse interests and also prepare her for an eventful career.
“Being an IIIMite today, I know I’ll be on the leading edge
tomorrow.”, she says.
Eventually, Rajni Salecha sums it up, “Accepting the fact that we’re
leaving this campus is extremely difficult. We’ve all had such great time
here and we’ve learnt a lot more than academics. We’ll take these skills
and apply them to whatever we do with our lives.”
Seems nostalgic ? Well, why not, when the occasion was ‘Udaan’- The farewell
Day for the MBA students of India International Institute of Management.
More than fifty future managers
about to fly high in the corporate world were said ‘Goodbye’ from their
juniors on 27 July 2004. With one and all wishing them luck and love, the
pass-outs seemed all set to carve a niche of their institution like never
before. The juniors staged an enthralling bunch of presentations and also
crowned each of their seniors with special interesting titles.
Director Dr. Ashok Gupta blessed the students and showed great faith that
with the tradition of providing outstanding leading edge to its students,
IIIM will definitely have more such success in the near future, “Now when
you’re passing out from IIIM, we can’t know how you will change the
world, but we are sure you will.” Dr. Ashok Gupta concluded.
