The party season at IIIM continued with yet another memorable
celebration this time to welcome the newly admitted MBA students. The mood was buoyant
and highly charged.High rating accorded to the institute by AIMA in B-school survey added to the enjoyment and fervour of the event. The theme for the freshers party was ‘rendezvous’ and the dress code was
red and black formals. The evening comprised various entertaining performances presented by both seniors and juniors. The excellently
compeered programme held the audiences mesmerized and enthralled.
An exciting array of items including mimicry, medley, dances and songs were presented with great élan and flair. ‘Stolen Moments’ took the seniors on a
trip down the memory lane as they shared the unforgettable moments of their first year at IIIM with the freshers. The spiciest and the funniest part of the evening were the title presentation slots with some witty, some
endearing, some apt and some very naughty titles being read out for the juniors.
Highpoint of the evening was the Ms.and Mr. Fresher contest. In a closely contested event, Pragya Mehta and Rachit Swarup Mathur won the title of Ms.Fresher and Mr. Fresher respectively
Dr.Ashok Gupta, Director IIIM, expressed deep satisfaction at the way the institute was progressing and carving a name for itself in the corporate world. He appreciated the talent and versatility of the performers and
organizers of the party and averred that he was impressed with the way the students were shaping up to take on bigger roles in the future.
