Graduation time is here, and the IIIM campus is buzzing with students finishing up exams, packing up their dorms, and getting ready to make that final walk across the stage to mark the end of their college life and move out in the corporate world taking the first steps towards a bright career.

The time has come to bid adieu to the senior most technocrats for their next highly rewarding and challenging journey of life. The day was marked as a very memorable day for the students of MCA Semester-V when the students of MCA III semester organized the farewell Party “UDAAN 2012”.

The farewell was based on “Rainbow” theme where the 7 colors symbolized, happiness, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, joy and hope for a bright future of the outgoing students. The function began with a warm traditional welcome of the seniors which was followed by Vandana.

Dr. Ashok Gupta, while addressing the students, said that the institution had gone beyond its vision of attaining success, the pride that it enjoys today is brought in by its students, present and past, and it feels elated to discover every now and then how well its old students are faring in their lives at the professional as well as personal front. Expressing his firm faith in their capabilities and extending his best wishes, he blessed the outgoing students and gave away the mementoes. Sir also felicitated Mr. Ravi Rajput, Mr. Dushyant Sharma, Mr. Vijay Dhuria, and Mr. Mohammad Arif Ansari, for Montage presentation.

Ms. & Mr. Farewell Contest was the highlight of the day. This was organized in two rounds and the contestants were judged on the basis of their spontaneity and composition of thoughts. Ms. Apoorva Kaushik was crowned as Ms. Farewell and Mr. Akshay Pareek bagged the title of Mr. Farewell. The spectacular afternoon was interspersed by a number of melodious songs and foot tapping dance numbers that made the function a truly memorable one.
