Vigilance Awareness Week

The Government of India launched the “Vigilance Awareness Week” programme as a part of this effort, our Institution, International School of Informatics and Management observed the same as per the guidelines of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) from October 26, 2015 to October 31, 2015. This programme aimed at creating awareness against corruption amongst the youth. The theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week was “Preventive Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance”.

The Institute conducted the weeklong awareness campaign with various events.

The faculty coordinators of the programme briefed the students about the awareness campaign by emphasizing on ‘Preventive Vigilance as a tool to Good Governance’.

A video aiming to inculcate moral values, strong character and respect towards our cultural heritage amongst students with motivational messages from -The Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India, Chairman and Vice Chairman of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) was played for the participants.

Presentations were held on the following topics:

1.     Value crisis amongst youth responsible for lack of honesty in society

2.     Corrupt practices eroding our social fabric

3.     Corruption the biggest bottleneck in economic progress.

An open discussion forum was provided to students for sharing their views on creating public awareness and curbing corruption and other malpractices.

Students participated in the Vigilance Awareness Week with great zeal and vigor.
