E-week 2016‏

IIIM’s entrepreneurship cell, E-Ignitersorganised E-Week activities in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) scheduled from 20th to 27th February 2016 with an exhilarating Inaugural ceremony.

The following activities were organized during the E-Week wherein students participated with full vigour and zest.

Day 1 - Inaugural Ceremony and e-Charcha

Commenced with the inaugural and pledge ceremony, followed by an interaction (e-charcha) with Mr.VijendraShekhawat, an entrepreneur turning pachyderm poop into paper.

Day – 2 Outreach

Students visited Barefoot College, Tilonia, an NGO providing basic services and solutions to problems in rural communities to create awareness on the entrepreneurial challenges and skill development through street play.

Day 3 - Outreach

A visit was arranged to the Rehabilitation & Limb Fitting Centre of SantokbaDurlabhji Memorial Hospitaland Akshaya Patrafor the students to inculcate a sense of social entrepreneurship.

Day 4 - UdyamKaryashla

A day long workshop was organized on financial planning. Mr.SaravjeetArora, from Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) threw light on intricacies of financial aspects of business world.

Day 5 - E-Baithak,

E-talk and Jugaad to Jhakaas

A panel discussion took place betweenSagarJhalani, GaurangAgarwal and SarveshAgarwal, alumni entrepreneurs of IIIM. Panellist threw light on the various challenges of entrepreneurial ventures.

E-talk was delivered by ManjuTiwari, owner of Thirstea, on differentiated entrepreneurial strategies.

Jugaad to Jhakaasactivity provided students an opportunity to create business out of waste and equip them to sell the product in a virtual market.

Day 6 - Bazaar on Campus

This was themost exciting event of the week, where students sold their own products like handmade bags, book marks, chocolates etc.

Day 7 - E-talk and UdyamKaryashla

E-talk was delivered by Dr.Pramila Sanjay on Social Entrepreneurship.

A day long workshop was organised by Mr.Paresh Gupta, Founder and CEO, MyCareer Architects on Idea Generation to Business Sustainability: The journey of an entrepreneur to inspire and motivate the students.
