‘Dharohar’- The Annual Alumni Meet

It was a time and event for old relationships to be cherished, celebrated and refreshed and new ones to be formed. New bridges were built and partnerships were forged. It was time for reflecting, remembering and reliving the good old times and memories of the student’s life and meeting new faces with a sense of purpose and anticipation. The occasion was Annual Alumni meet of IIIM celebrated on 29th November 2014 at the beautifully decorated IIIM Campus.
The event was well attended by Alumni currently working in different fields and enthusiastic current students of the MBA, MCA & PGDM programmes. Dr. Ashok Gupta addressed the gathering and welcomed the Alumni to their alma mater and also thanked the alumni for their continued involvement in the activities and functions of the institute. In his address, Dr Gupta emphasized on the importance of punctuality in daily and professional life as a mean to earn reputation and trust. He expressed hope that for even better Alumni involvement, ‘Dharohar’- The alumni association should be run and managed by the Alumnus with Institute providing the platform and resources for it. He congratulated the ex-student on their achievements in their respective careers.
The current students prepared a colorful and mesmerizing video presentation taking the alumni on a journey through memory lane. The alumni expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the faculty members and the Institute. They shared their experiences of stay and learning in the campus and some memorable moments they lived here. It was also an opportunity for the juniors to connect with their seniors and obtain inputs on the professional life they are preparing for. The ex-students lovingly encouraged, pushed and guided the current students to take up live projects, assignments on different aspects of the corporate world and satisfied their queries.
The Alumni meet ended on a high note with high tea and a promise to meet again next year with more experiences to share and new bondings to be made.
