Current Affairs Forum

On September 16, 2010 International School of Informatics and Management organized its first Current Affairs Forum Meet. With an objective to acquaint budding managers with prevailing global challenges in world, including spheres like  politics, news, management, general knowledge, government and international. 

Forum started with a power point presentation on “Road to Licensing of Banks” by Ms. Airan Vijay Laxmi and Ms. Aditi Gupta. They discussed about the licensing reforms brought by RBI over the years.  

They also briefed the students about few banks that have established an outstanding track record of innovation, growth and value creation which is reflected in their market valuation.  

The presentation was followed by a debate competition on current affairs including topics like ‘Is India ready for common wealth games’, ‘Blackberry issues’, etc. The winners with a clear leap from others were Mr. Kapil Karamchandani and Mr Agam Mathur.

It was followed by the role play based on current corporate news.
