Blood Donation Camp

October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti and the ideal way to commemorate this was by conducting a Blood Donation camp and creating awareness of the importance of blood donation. The love of a fellow human and a desire to share something of oneself is what singles out a blood donor from others.

Keeping this in mind, in collaboration with NSS, the institute organized Blood Donation camp on 6th October 2010. This programme was inaugurated by Director Dr. Mahesh Joshi, MP, Jaipur, who encouraged the students to participate in this noble work and serve humanity.

The team of doctors from Swasthya Kalyan Blood Bank and the staff of the Naya Sawera, an NGO, extended their fullest cooperation to make the camp a success.

The combined efforts of all concerned resulted in the collection of 70 units of blood.  

Colourful posters highlighting the importance of blood donation were displayed in the campus. These motivated the students to come forward and donate blood.
