Abhinandan

International School of Informatics and Management organized ‘Abhinandan’ the Freshers’ Day on 22 April 2010, for the MCA Students.  

The programme began with lamp lighting followed by Ganesh Vandana, for invoking the divine spirits for blessings. Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the institute formally welcomed the new members in the family. Sir advised the students that, to achieve success, one should just do what one loves and believes in, and success will come naturally.  

The freshers enjoyed dance and music performances, presented by the seniors. The presentation entitling the freshers, reflecting their interests and personality was highly appreciated. An electronic presentation depicting the journey of the senior batch from being the new bies to being the seniors was also shown. It displayed their progress & achievements over the year.  

Ms. & Mr. Freshers Contest was the highlight of the day. This was organized in two rounds and the contestants were judged on the basis of their spontaneity and composition of thoughts. Ms. Ila Hajela was crowned as Ms. Fresher and Mr. Wajid Ali bagged the title of Mr. Fresher.
