'UDAAN-2009'

On the 22 August, 2009 IIIM family bid farewell to a talented bunch of students graduating with their Masters in Business Administration. The occasion marked a very significant day for all the students parting their ways taking away a bag load of mixed memories along with them. After spending nearly two memorable years at the institute, the Budding Mangers stepped out in to the corporate world to create a new benchmark. 

'UDAAN-2009' began with Ganesh Vandana, a gesture of invoking the divine spirits for blessings.  The air was filled with mixed emotions as the seniors shared euphoric stories of bygone days. An assortment of the snaps of various events and activities clicked in the last two years was displayed by way of a presentation and brought back many a memorable moments adding to the reminiscence.

An extremely vibrant programme based on the theme ‘Galaxy’, to signify the sheen reflected by the outgoing students, was presented by the junior batch to give their seniors a loving send-off. The spectacular evening was interspersed by a number of melodious song, dance and foot tapping music numbers that made the function a truly memorable one. The seniors were seen dressed in hues of black and silver to match the theme of the event. 

Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the institute in his address to the students, expressed his strong belief that they would fulfill the social and professional responsibility entrusted upon them, to the best of their abilities and wished them a bright future. He emphasized that humility is an essential attitude to leadership and success and advised the students to lead by creating a balance between firmness and modesty.

Miss. Sonia Begwani and Mr. Rajesh Meena were adjudged Miss and Mr. Farewell respectively.
