Dharohar-2009

This Sunday was different for the IIIM Alumni from the rest of the peaceful sloppy Sunday lot. IIIM auditorium witnessed the most-awaited get-together of the season- “Dharohar-2009” for the MBA and MCA students on Sunday, 1^st November,2009.

The evening took off by lighting lamp and seeking the blessings of the Almighty followed by a Welcome Note by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the institute.

 Dr. Gupta, in his address to a packed gathering applauded the former students for achieving success in their endeavors. He praised the alumni for keeping up the institute’s name in the corporate world and for their contributions in the development of the institution. C2I, Connect to IIIM website was also introduced. This would help in keeping alumni connected with their alma mater- anytime anywhere.

As we entered into the eventful night, the air got more vibrant with the sizzling dance performances by the students for their dear alumni. But it was a nostalgic moment for them to refresh their old memories, the happy moments they spent at the campus with their batch-mates and many such moments which they realized they would never be able to bring again. These golden moments were portrayed to them with the help of a presentation. To lighten their moods again after the journey through memory lane, it was the time to party and spend some good time with other fellow alumni and faculties.

It was a nostalgic homecoming for the ex- IIIMites. The evening saw a plethora of mixed emotions-with a promise to meet again.
