Informatics and Management organized a Faculty Development Programme on
Strengthening Industry Institute Interface: Benefits and Approaches on 21
July, 2009.
The HR team of Mico Bosch, comprising Mr. Sudhershan, Head HR, Mr. Santosh
Joseph, Officer HR, and Ms. Aditi Gupta, Assistant Manager HR, in
conversation with faculty, briefed the audience on the structures, HR
practices and their impact on the growth of Mico Bosch as one of the best
employers in the production domain. The speakers discussed the avenues to
strengthen interaction and resource sharing between the industry and the
academic community.
Mr. Sudhershan discussed the current trends and issues, in human resource
development which are of professional and academic relevance to management
and Information Technology arena.
Mr. Joseph and Ms. Gupta highlighted the steps taken by Mico Bosch in
reaching out to the budding professionals in various academic institutions.
Strategies and mechanisms to bridge the gap between the curriculum and
corporate expectations were discussed, in the interactive session that
followed the deliberation..
