Workshop on TATA NEN Hottest Start Up

On December 16, 2008 International School of Informatics and Management in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) organized a day long practicum on “TATA NEN HOTEST START UP: An Initiative to Honour the Young & Innovative Business Plan” with resource person Mr. Amith Agarwal, Founder & Director, Staragri Ltd.

Mr. Sharad Kamra, Consultant, NEN informed the students about the TATA NEN hottest start up program.

Mr. Amith Agarwal initiated his session with these words ‘Chase your Dreams to the Fullest to make them True, by Equipping yourselves with your Capabilities, and Explore yourself’.

Sir also emphasized that, its people who create the difference. Self motivated people are the key to success. In order to create revolution you need the evolution of character.

He also elucidated budding managers about STARAGRI, which is among the best 30 out of 588 business plans across India and is the only representative from Rajasthan. STARAGRI involves in post harvest management, it provides warehouse to farmers to procure grains and in exchange, offers finance, insurance and other such services. It facilitates to rural empowerment.

Sir also shared his experience as an entrepreneur about current scenario of market and pragmatic situation to effectively deal with them.

The session was well taken and the participants enthusiastically raised various queries at the end of the session which were impressively answered by the speaker. Speaker concluded this highly enriching session with this motivating quote, “SKY IS THE LIMIT, BUT SKY HAS NO LIMIT”.
