Workshop on Recent Trends in Information Technology

Workshop on “Recent Trends in Information Technology” was organized by International School of Informatics and Management, Jaipur on October 23, 2008. The speaker for the practicum was Dr. Arpita Gopal, Director, MCA Department, Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Research. Dr. Gopal is also a renowned consultant for companies like IBM India, Zensar Technologies, Oracle University and Patni Computer System Ltd. to name a few. 

Dr. Arpita with her rich experience in the field of IT & Management enlightened the MBA and MCA students of the institute on recent trends like ERP- Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Automation and Management and IT integration.  

She also organized various interesting games for the participants to illustrate significance of amalgamation of technical and management knowledge in the changing corporate world. Students raised queries on opportunities in the IT field in general, which were effectively addressed by the resource person.
