The best way to welcome people is to make them one of us. The august morning of October 18, 2008 saw IIIM organizing Fresher’s Day for students of MCA Semester I, Batch, 2008-2010.  

After the ‘Ganesh Vandana’, to invoke the blessings of the almighty, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the institute welcomed the freshers and expressed confidence that they would carry forward the traditions and values of the institution.  

The day was marked by well-directed and beautifully performed cultural fiesta. The students danced on foot tapping numbers, some of them being a fusion of the old and the new. The Freshers’ were seen draped in hues of Black and Red to match the theme ‘Valentine’, of the event. 

Ms. & Mr. Freshers’ Contest was the highlight of the day. This was organized in two rounds. Ms. Nikita Goyal was crowned as Ms.Fresher and Mr. Vivek Kumar Aditya bagged the title of Mr. Fresher.
