The institute gathers feedback using formal and informal methods. The fee for the MCA programme is Rs. 36,000 per year, as fixed by the Government of Rajasthan.

X.                 ADMISSION PROCEDURE :

Admission test: RMCAAT (Rajasthan MCA Admission Test)

Name and Address of the Test Agency: The test is conducted by an authority constituted by the State government. The address & the URL, hence, depend on it. RMCAAT 2008 was conducted by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

As per the policy of the State Government admissions are granted only on the basis of  RMCAAT conducted by the body appointed by the Government.

The Admissions to the MCA programme are made by the State Government. The Government appoints Committee for the conduct of RMCAAT for the admission of the students in the MCA institutes in the state. The dates for application and admission for management seats are announced by the government appointed committee.

The entire process of admissions right from the publication of information bulletin to declaration of the list of selected candidates is handled by the RMCAAT committee. The commencement of the academic session is guided by the RTU’s academic calendar.

¨      The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal, should be clearly notified.

The refund of fee, in case of withdrawal is as per the policy laid down by the government.

 

XI.               CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION :

 

The admissions to the MCA programme are made by the State Government.

                   The Government appoints Committee for the conduct of RMCAAT for the admission of the students in the MCA institutes in the state and all decisions regarding the criteria and weightages for admission are taken by the committee.

 

¨      Describe each criteria with its respective weightages i.e. Admission Test, marks in qualifying examination etc.

        Decisions regarding the criteria and weightages for admission are taken by the RMCAAT committee.

 

¨      Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.

        Minimum 50 % marks are required at the qualifying examination for eligibility of admission.

 

¨      Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years.

        Decisions regarding the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years were taken by the Government appointed committee.

Games and Sports Facilities

Believing in the philosophy of 'A healthy mind in a healthy body', the institute offers ample opportunities and facilities for sports and games. The institute has a swimming pool in the campus where inter college swimming competitions have been hosted. The institute also offers facilities for cricket, athletics, badminton, basket ball and table tennis. Indoor games such as carom and chess also contribute towards helping the students & the staff unwind.

For each semester, two sessional examinations are conducted, as per the university specifications. Assignments, Lab exercises, paper presentations, case discussions and software development projects are given to the students from time to time on a regular basis.
