Interaction with Mr. Farukh Sheikh

On 18 September, 2008 students of International School of Informatics and Management had an opportunity to interact with Mr. Farukh Sheikh, a renowned film and theater artist, and an impressive orator. 

In conversation with the students, Mr. Sheikh, a lawyer by education, but an actor by profession shared his experiences with the young graduates and said that on the path to success everyone has to cross rejections, failures and hardships and these road blocks could only be cleared through hard work and determination. 

Mr. Farukh Sheikh told the students that at the core of acting talent is the ability to see and understand people from their point of view. An actor has to enter into the character’s personality and imaginatively recreate his feelings, wants and experiences in order to bring that character to life. And it is this ability that helps an actor empathizes with people in different situations. 

Mr.Sheikh highlighted the issues, which are related to youth.  He drew the audience’s attention on significant necessary attributes like integrity and ethical values. He urged the young participants to have a long term vision instead of short term vision for their life. The conversation was highly appreciated by the audience.
