Udaan (MCA)

The air was filled with mixed emotions on May8, 2008 as the IIIM family bid adieu to yet another batch of students graduating with their Masters in Computer Applications. It was a blend of joy and sadness, as after spending nearly three memorable years at the institute and now the Budding Technocrats are stepping out in to the IT world to create a new benchmark.

'UDAAN' began with Ganesh Vandana, a gesture of invoking the divine spirits for blessings followed by a Welcome Note by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the institute.

Sir blessed the students and shared the progress made by the College in last years. Addressing on the occasion, Sir, said that he feels elated to know how well the alumni are faring in their personal and professional lives. He said leaving a college was a matter of both sorrow and joy and expressed the hope that friendship among the students would survive the vicissitudes of life.

The institute presentation of memorable moments was time for the students to recall the sweet memories of past previous years. Various titles were also conferred on the occasion.

An extremely effervescent programme was presented by the junior batch to give their seniors a loving send-off. Though their hearts were heavy, the juniors bravely presented vivacious performances one after another to entertain and enthrall their seniors.

The students of the passing out batch touched the hearts of all present when they shared fond reminiscences of their years at IIIM.

Miss. Alka Kapoor and Mr. Nitin Khandelwal were adjudged Miss and Mr. Farewell respectively. The best dressed male and female were Mr. Ritesh Modi and Ms. Ankita Anchaliya.

The day embarked a vibrant cultural programme, which was an admixture of foot tapping western numbers and melodious songs. The show was spell binding and left the audience awestruck.
