Day One

Montage 2007 is shaped, innovated and conceived to captivate, intrigue and mesmerize intelligent young minds. As the name spells itself, montage 2007 is a collage of various activities relating to the different facets of IT world.  Each event has been painstakingly designed to provide a funfilled, kaleidoscopic and pschydelic montage of unadulterated enjoyment and gaiety.


Montage 2007, the 4th annual Inter-Institute Festival of India International Institute of Management was inaugurated today by Shri Anuj Agarwal, Director, Airport Authority of India, Shri Ajay Kumar, General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Shri Arun Krishnan, Assistant Vice President, Genpact, Jaipur. Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director of the Institute informed the guests about  the institute’s progress during the last session. A special presentation on Padambushan Shree F.C. Kohli, Consultant TCS was the highlight of the inaugural ceremony Shree.

IT students from around 10 institutes were present to participate in the mega festival.

The inaugural day of the two day long event was full of enthusiasm and excitement that could be easily seen among all the participants. Though the winners were different at different activities, all of them participated with equal zest and high spirit.

Day one had a wide range of activities including the quiz called Brain Bench where the contestant’s knowledge and awareness of various function areas of IT world was tested through a grueling series of rounds. Students of Compucom, Jaipur- Kumud Ranjan and Rahul Mondal stood as winner.

After the quiz called “Brain-Bench”, a mock press conference named Aamne-Saamne was organized where in the participants had to address questions regarding the personality. Very interestingly, the participants kept the audience glued to their seats by performing. Saurabh- student of Compucom is the winner.

Following the interesting list of the montage events, Bits & bytes was planned to be a serious academic exercise where in participants were given a platform for the upcoming programmers to show their caliber to the techno savvy world. The winning teams are Compucom and Deepshikha college , Jaipur.

Splash , a unique event where the young tehnocrats with universally appreciated painting skills were required to make a theme based painting. The winners of the event Is from Apex Institute, Jaipur

Among the various daylong activities, taal was an instant hit, popularly known as “ANTAKSHARI” one of the most sizzling cultural events of all time.The winning team is Compucom, Jaipur.

Overall day one of Montage 2007 was full of innovative ideas, strategic approaches, presence of mind and a creative blast brought up collectively by all participants.
