Management, Jaipur hosted “Dharohar”, the alumni meet for MBA
students on October 15, 2006. The institute believes that the alumni
base engenders a harmonious co-existence of traditional excellence with
modern managerial acumen. The splendor and glory of their sterling
achievements redounds upon the name of their alma mater and constantly
inspires the students to scale great heights.
Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director, IIIM welcomed
the alumni and congratulated them for doing the institute proud. He
further envisaged that “continual improvement” and not “status-quo” is
essential for achieving professional competence. Describing upon
placement as the institute’s backbone, Dr. Gupta stressed on the linkage
between alumni and institute in the form of placement opportunities in
organizations wherein they have carved out a niche for themselves.
The alumni shared their corporate and
professional experiences with the students and gave them valuable
suggestions for their future role as professionals. The alumni walked
down the memory lane as the current batch spread an entertainment
blended nostalgia in the environment with some brilliant performances.
This was a very emotional moment as it touched the hearts of all the
members of IIIM family. The alumni and the current batch lived up the
tradition of staying together by lighting up candles. |
