To strengthen the effective contribution of the institute's capacities in conceptual analysis and strategic planning, need-based and core research is systematically promoted. The research work undertaken by our faculty provides, cutting edge competitiveness to the industry, rather than just providing the solutions. Research efforts are based on interventions and community approaches that also involve students. Stand-alone projects, applied research, theme- based field research and research to support executive education are the major activities. The institute is actively involved in a number of consultancy services related to strategy, systems and feasibility. Consultancy services are provided to both Government as well as private organizations. Some of the current projects include areas like knowledge management, marketing strategies and system evaluation of SMEs.
