Diwali Celebration
Held on : 06/11/2015

May this Deepavali be a new beginning of peace, prosperity and happiness for all!

DIWALI CELEBRATION AT THE PLAY HOUSE, IIS

Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Deepavali’ which means – ‘Rows of lighted lamps’. Diwali stands for a reaffirmation of hope, a renewed commitment to friendship and goodwill, and a religiously sanctioned celebration of the simple – and some not so simple – joys of life and is celebrated by the people all over India.

The kiddies of The Play House celebrated the festival of lights in their own special way on 6 November 2015. The students were clad in traditional outfits to mark the occasion. Events of the day included a colourful presentation by the students. It was an enjoyable event and the judges selected the Best dressed students from each class.
