Class X & XII students of India International School were more than excited to take blessings from their teachers and fellow-students. The occasion marked a very significant day for the 187 school students appearing for the X Boards and for the 210 appearing for XII Boards in the session 2002-2003. They stood awaited, with smiling faces, hopeful hearts, heads held high and hands wanting to touch Principal Dr. Ashok Gupta’s and Asstt. Principal Ms. Mala Agnihotri’s feet. For their blessings they know will work wonders when combined with hard work and determination. Dr. Gupta, while addressing the students, said that the key to be successful is being focused at the target. He said that the students should not get nervous and they must aim to perform the best of their ability. Expressing his firm faith and best wishes, he distributed Good Lock Cards and Mementoes to them. Dr. Gupta also sung the encouraging and meaningful number – “Aa Chal Ke Tujhe Main Leke Chaloon…” to convey his love & concern for the students. The teachers presented ‘Shlokas’ and a series of thoughtful numbers like “He Ishwar, Ya Allah…, Ruk Jana Nahin Tu Kahin Haar Ke… and Yadein…” to bid farewell to the outgoing students. This lovely get-together appeared as an add-on with the numerous valuable tips provided to the students by their teachers to excel at the Boards. |
