Workshop on Examination Reforms and CCE

A three day workshop was hosted and organised at the School campus as per the directives of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from 27th to 29th October, 2009.  This was a day long workshop for three consecutive days targeting approximately 25 schools to participate each day covering CBSE affiliated schools  from in and around Jaipur and a couple of schools from Ajmer and Udaipur also. 

The primary agenda of the workshop was to create awareness among the school Principals and teachers on the examination reforms and introduction of CCE for Class IX and X effective this academic year. 

Following were the Resource Persons for the workshop: 

»        Ms. Mala Agnihotri, Sr. Vice Principal, India International School, Jaipur

»        Ms. Rina Singh, Principal, Parasrampuria Gems International School, Jaipur 

Some of the highlights of the workshop: 

»        Modules shared in the workshop have bought clarity among the school on the new assessment format being introduced by CBSE.

»        Most of the issues/concerns were addressed with regards to the change in the evaluation system.

»        The Principals and teachers of various schools have found CCE to be a better system as compared to written examinations.

The workshop showed an attendance of 185 participants - Principals and Teachers from close to 69 schools attending the same.
