NCC Camp ( CATC-2009 ) At Bagru

Our school,s NCC cadets participated in the CATC-2009 ie Combined Annual Training Camp under the unit ‘No 1 Raj Air Sqn NCC , Jaipur,  held at Choudhary Public Sr Sec School , Bagru, from 20 October 2009 to 29 October 2009.Twenty four cadets from our school comprising 17 JDs ( Junior Division ) and 7 JWs ( Junior Women ) from classes 8 and 9 participated in the camp. 

All the cadets were put up in the school’s class rooms.We all had to be ready by 6 am to report for PT exercises and drill followed by breakfast.The food was nourishing and we relished it.We walked for 8 kms in the streets of Bagru on a night route, a new experience for all of us.We learnt a lot about the Indian Air Force.We practised rifle shooting also.Games such as Volley Ball, Kho-Kho etc were a part of the daily routine.  All the hard work reduced our weight also.

 We attended various theory classes where we were taught how to tackle difficult situations in life.The cultural part was also taken care of and on the cultural eve we performed a group dance and sang songs. 

The Camp Commandant was the Wing Commander PS Bajwa and our Permanent Instructor Head was MW Azad Sir.

 The camp ended on 29^th .We all enjoyed this experience and learnt how to live in Unity, Discipline and Brotherhood even in new and not so comfortable conditions and survive without any luxury and comfort  we are used to.
